Tchin-Lait is a private company under Algerian law, founded by Mr. Fawzi BERKATI in 1999, located on the former site of the Tchin-Tchin lemonade factory which was originally a family business, located at the entrance of the city of Bejaia. Tchin Lait has been producing and marketing long-life UHT (Ultra High Temperature) milk under the Candia label since May 2001. In 2015, Générale Laitière Jugurta, the second production site, was born, headquartered in Baraki (Algiers).
